Overview Text

The dataset contains detailed information on new commercial vehicle registrations by fuel type (electrically chargeable, hybrid electric, alternative fuels, petrol, diesel) and by market. Data is available for the EU (individual member states and aggregated), Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, for the first half of 2024 and compares the numbers with 2023.

Datasets presented in the report include:

  • New van registrations (Light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.

  • New medium truck registrations (Medium commercial vehicles between 3.5 and 16 tonnes)

  • New heavy truck registrations (Heavy commercial vehicles of 16 tonnes and over)

  • Total new truck registrations (Medium and heavy commercial vehicles over 3.5 tonnes)

  • New bus registrations (Medium and heavy buses over 3.5 tonnes)
