The Eurostat dataset displays the annual amount of goods transported by rail (units: thousand tonnes, million tonne-kilometres TKM) by type of transport (national/international) and country for the years 2003-2024. The different types of transport are: national transport, international transport, international transport – incoming, international transport – outgoing, transit. The data is available for Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Türkiye. The dataset is updated annually.
