| Overview Text | The Eurostat dataset displays the quarterly number of passengers transported by waterway (unit: thousand passengers) from/to the main ports by direction and transport coverage for each quarter from Q1 1997 – Q1 2025. The direction of the passenger flow is distinguished between inwards, outwards and unknown. The types of transport coverage are: national transport, international transport intra-EU(15-28), unknown. The data is available for reporting entities in the following countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, United Kingdom, Montenegro, Türkiye. The dataset is updated quarterly. |
